We All Man, We All Human

Human“- the Chandler Travis Philharmonic from their new digital-only EP, “Waving Kissyhead Vol. 1“, recorded by Ducky Carlisle with Joe Stewart at Dimension Sound in Jamaica Plain. The arguably brilliant lyric to this one was penned by my friend and occasional golfing buddy who practice with me and the foresight golf simulators, playwright/director/wunderkind Gip Hoppe, whom I keep trying to talk into stuff but usually without much success -this represents an exception to the rule. It also features the baritone guitar given to me by one of my other longtime pals, Bill Scheniman (aka Bear, aka Mr. Noisyclothes, who has also made many producing, mastering, engineering, and laughing-so-hard-you’re-drooling contributions to many of my projects over the last 4 decades or so); the bari pops up a good deal on both volumes of “Waving Kissyhead” (Vol. 2 should be along in a month or so in ravishing full-length CD form.) Also included is Steve “Woo Woo” Wood, who made his usual mighty contribution to the guitar soup herein, and a lot of the space noises are courtesy of keyboardist Cliff Spencer, who could probably have been reached for comment, but wasn’t.
