She Saw Me First

She Saw Me First” – CT demo, recorded at Babyland, May, 2020. Haven’t been writing much lately, but this one was simple enough I didn’t have to go to much trouble (no messy verses or bridges, just chorus chorus chorus); if I’m lucky, the ascending melodic drama is vaguely reminiscent of Conway Twitty’s “It’s Only Make Believe”, albeit wimpier and way less exciting. But who needs excitement anyway?

Plus now I know that a beautiful song can be chorus chorus chorus . No mess. And it’s all only make believe anyway.
