The Catbirds play “Seven and Seven Is”

The Catbirds – “Seven and Seven Is“, recorded at Joe’s Beach Bar (aka the Barley Neck Inn) on March 13, 2014 at Rikki’s birthday party by WOMR’s Tony Pasquale.

Always used to love this song, which was on the second Love album, “Da Capo”; Steve ripped it up on this one with the Greenheads, so we figured it would be crazy not to carry on that tradition with the Catbirds. This was a fun night, and we had a ball even though Dinty couldn’t make it, as evidenced by the fact that this is our second Song of the Weak entry from that set (the other was the Paul Westerberg song “Eyes Like Sparks.”)

The night also included a short set by the original line-up of the Incredible Casuals, and you can expect a highlight or two from that here soon as well in the near future…

Well, I STILL love this song (even still have the 45 by LOVE) and this is just another reason why I love Catbirds. Say YEAH!
