July 4 hat trick three-way video spectacular!!

Mid-morning in Moscow” – the Chandler Travis Philharmonic at Herring Cove, Provincetown, MA, Sept. 4, 2016, shot by Belinda. We’ve posted many different versions of this one, because we always have a great time playing it; with our first Herring Cove show of the season coming up this Wednesday, and this being another damn fine version, we figured, aw, what the hell…

Mid-morning in Moscow (Barbato campfire version)” -Jenny & Artie Barbato. I love these guys! Artie has played with us many times, and first met them when my wife and I traveled to New Orleans with Ken Field’s Revolutionary Snake Ensemble on the train, playing train stations and little mini-shows actually on the train on the way down before playing in the Mardi Gras parade (our Krewe also included my l’il sis, Deb Travis, and many other N’awlins friends); we hit it off right away, and the whole thing was just a ridiculous amount of fun.

Who Has Seen the Wind?” -Travis family video (!!), originally presented to my ma, Froony Travis, on the occasion of her 96th birthday on July 1st, 2016, and reprised here again on the occasion of her 97th. My ma is truly the toughest hombre of ’em all, not to mention the wittiest and most generally delightful in every possible regard. I’ve grown extremely partial to her, and her original ground-breaking version of “Who Has Seen the Wind?” is still the one to beat.
