“Let’s Get Better” – The Incredible Casuals
One of our least treasured (and least heard) songs, “Let’s Get Better” was recorded in the early’s 90’s by our then-lineup of Johnny Spampinato, Aaron Spade, F. Clarke Martty, and myself, and released on a Boston ska compilation produced by Dan Vitale of Bim Skala Bim called “Mash It Up, ’93”. (Potentially musing sidenote: in 1988, both Bim and the Casuals made it to the semi-finals of the Boston Rock n Roll Rumble, where we both had a ball but got outlandishly low scores and eliminated, alas! But we both survived that catastrophe, and we’ll survive this one, too!)
